Since I was a little girl art has been very important to me, to my hands and my senses. A quiet walk, waiting for the perfect moment, finding emotions in simple things, these are all things I enjoy a lot! Some years ago I stopped painting and I worked with my emotions by taking pictures, and in this way I replaced painting. I like to “trick” my viewers so that they could think a picture is a painting, a painting is a picture, a reflection like reality or reality like a reflection. It’s like a game to me.
Street photography for me is an art, a challenge sometimes: it´s not just about taking a picture on the street, but about being intelligent in combining things, waiting for moments, playing with shadows and reflections, to show the contrast of people in everyday life and their environment with me as a spectator.
